Aims and Scope

The Journal of Agriculture and Basic Sciences (JABS) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal focusing on research at the intersection of agricultural science and the basic sciences that underpin it. The journal welcomes full-length research articles, reviews, short communications, perspectives, and commentaries from researchers based in academic institutions, international research centers, and public and private research organizations.

JABS has a special interest in research that connects fundamental scientific principles, whether biological, chemical, physical, or physiological, to practical outcomes in agricultural production and biological systems, and editors will prioritize publication of papers in this interdisciplinary space. Special issues covering focused subject areas and conference proceedings are also considered for publication.
